It took weeks for me to decide on a blogging challenge for 2022. I didn’t want to lose the momentum I achieved in 2021. The light bulb moment came while I got my morning steps in the gym. Ideas come to me when I walk. I know the plan isn’t original. After all, I know of people who have done the 365 days of thankfulness challenge. I’ve never attempted to express this level of gratitude in any official capacity. How hard can it be, right? This post expresses day fifteen of 365 days of thankfulness.
Day Fifteen of 365 Days of Thankfulness
I want to say I am thankful for my husband, whom I call Rooster, on day fifteen of my 365 days of gratitude. He can be a handful at times. We all know he is cheap, cheap, but I can’t think of another person I would rather travel with on this great adventure we call life. We’ve been together for a long time. I’d be bored if he weren’t here with me. We met and married in 1974. We’ve had our ups and downs like every couple, but we’ve always managed to reconcile our differences. He is the one person in my life who can make me laugh and cry and sometimes do it on the same day. I love my Rooster, and I’m thankful for him.
The Old Lady Speaks
I am an old lady. My glimpses of thankfulness may not be the same as the ones you might select. I believe we can all relate to the blessings in life, even during a pandemic. They are landmarks in our human experience. Thankfulness is an adventure we can all take together. Would you please leave a comment and share with me some of the things you are thankful for today.

Molly, this is a lovely idea. I look forward to keeping up throughout the year. 🤓
You’re very welcome.😊
I love your initiative and rooster sounds like a loving hoot!
Thank you and he is a hoot.
So…. it took you two weeks to get around to him, eh, Molly? (just kidding!!!)
I included him with the family. He is a rascal,so I thought I’d take my time getting to him.
