I’m still plugging away at my 2022 blogging challenge. Each day I am discovering new ways that my life is blessed. Despite all the tragedy and drama in the world, I am discovering I have so much to be thankful for in my life. The trick is to find those blessings in the mundane. I start my day searching for moments of appreciation in my life. The events or things might seem small and insignificant, but they add up to a giant pile of blessings. I’ve never attempted to express gratitude as the primary subject of my writing. This post covers day 108 of my 365 days of thankfulness.
Day 108 of my 365 Days of Thankfulness
On day 108 of my 365 days of thanksgiving, I am grateful we made it through all the traffic in Chicago without an accident. The traffic around the city of Chicago is a nightmare. I hate going anywhere near this American city. A good adventure always alludes me every time I pay a visit here. We got lucky to make the trip on a Saturday. We only had to sit through three traffic slowdowns. The biggest problem we encountered happened when Baby Bird and Little Chicken needed to use the restroom. They had to wait because an out of order sign hung on the door of every public restroom in Chicago. I am grateful we made it home alive and without a mess.

It’s good you stayed safe, Molly. I’ve never been to Chicago, and it sounds like it won’t be at the top of my list for visiting. 🙂
Thank you.
