Throwing caution to the wind, Rooster and I decided to take an afternoon motorcycle ride to Elkhart. It turned into a wonderful day.
We decided to take the grandkids to see the exhibitions and ride rides on a Saturday morning. We loaded into the car and headed for the Howard County Fair.
Fishers Spark turned out to be a kid-friendly event. Most of the activities were free and easy to locate at the Nickle Plate Pavilion.
We came across some interesting discoveries. The Vincennes experience became an enjoyable way to spend our last evening before heading home in the morning.
The Indiana Military Museum is our next stop in Vincennes. Walking through displays of old military hardware, a person can experience a feeling of deja vu.
