Before the Storm
I challenged myself to write all of my adventures in mock-epic style poetry in 2022. Here in Indiana, we Hoosiers are about to get our first snowstorm of the year. I always feel like the best part of a winter storm warning comes before the first snowflakes start to fly. So without any further ado, let’s get on with the poem I titled Before the Storm.

We put 702 Massachusetts Ave Matthews, Indiana, into our phones GPS a cloudy Saturday morning with plans to pay a visit to New Cumberland Antiques.

After Rooster and I finished a delicious breakfast at Choo Choo McGoo’s, we traveled around the corner to The Glass Monocle.
